Salman's former flame is penning her autobiography
So, when you claim an affiliation with Salman Khan, things will not always be black and white but they surely will be a talking point.
Just ask Salman’s ex-girlfriend Somy Ali.
The former Pakistani actress Somy is writing her autobiography which will have an entire chapter dedicated to Salman. Now, that would be an interesting read.
After a showdown with her mother Somy came to India to meet her superstar crush. In a beautiful twist of fate, Salman Khan got his hands on her portfolio photos and called her up himself.
She starred opposite him in Bulund that released in 1993. Salman and Somy were a couple for eight years. Its believed that he broke up with Sangeeta Bijlani to be with Somy. However, Somy and Salmans relationship ended when Salman met Aishwarya Rai during Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
Somy was in love and there was no doubt it. However, her relationship with Salman was not as rosy as she would have liked it to be. An infamous incident brought the dark nature of their relationship into focus. In a fit of rage, Salman allegedly broke a soft drink bottle on Somys head. He was angry that she was drinking alcohol. Somy, of course, has repeatedly denied the incident.
But despite this, their relationship seems to have mended itself. Somy was believed to have invited Salman to her Miami Beach home when he was in Los Angeles for a medical check-up
Somy and Salman have much in common. Somy runs a US-based NGO No More Tears that supports women who have survived domestic abuse and human trafficking while Salman has his foundation Being Human.
